A Dream 20 Years in the Making
Over two decades ago, I dreamed of a place where people from all walks of life could explore and enjoy the wonders of technology—a vibrant hub where individuals gather to experience the latest innovations firsthand. While the vision has evolved over time, the core idea remains: to empower and inspire through technology.
Today, that dream has taken a new shape. At The Milton Lumbergh Association, we're developing a unique space in my hometown of Akron, Ohio. Our mission is to offer a free training program tailored for individuals with a passion for technology, particularly those from low-income backgrounds. We aim to create a multilingual, simulated office environment where participants gain valuable skills by learning about and supporting every piece of technology in the building.
