About MLA
Who we are
The Milton Lumbergh Association (MLA) exists to help people make sense of technology when it becomes confusing, overwhelming, or unsafe. At its core, MLA offers free help with everyday technology questions—the kind of things people shouldn’t have to pay for just to get a straight answer.
If someone needs clarity on a setting, a warning message, a suspicious email, slow performance, or whether a piece of software is actually necessary, MLA believes those answers should be accessible. No scare tactics. No pressure. No upselling.
Too much tech support today is built around selling subscriptions, pushing unnecessary antivirus or malware products, or steering people toward brand-driven solutions that benefit companies more than users. MLA takes a different approach. We focus on clear explanations and practical guidance, and when a reliable free tool is the right answer, we say so—plainly and honestly.
While MLA’s long-term vision includes expanded services, mentorship programs, and hands-on learning environments, the current focus is intentional and grounded: helping people understand what’s happening and what their real options are. That foundational help—answering questions clearly and ethically—is not a stepping stone. It’s the point.
MLA grows at a human pace by design. Trust, clarity, and dignity matter more than volume.
Our mission
The mission of the Milton Lumbergh Association is to provide clear, accessible, and trauma-aware technology support, starting with free answers to common and everyday questions.
As MLA grows, support will expand into deeper assistance, mentoring, and additional service options. The scope may evolve, but the core remains the same: helping people make informed decisions about technology without fear, pressure, or hidden agendas.
